Le Red Bull Music Festival revient à Montréal pour une 2ème édition!

From viral sensations to promising up-and-comers, 2019 is producing an incredible crop of new artists that remind us why we listen to music at all. Here are some of our favorites so far.

Nous avons pris la route le vendredi 23 août en direction de la belle ville de Granby pour assister à la grande finale du Festival international de la chanson de Granby (FICG). En explorant la ville avant la soirée si attendue, nous avons entendu de la musique partout : des vitrines dans de petites églises aux haut-parleurs sur la Principale. De la musique il y en a à Granby!

The Stingray-sponsored 2019 CCMA Legends show at this year’s Country Music Week in Calgary at the Jack Singer Auditorium was a fantastic event. A perennial highlight during the CCMAs, The Legends Show brings together some of Canada’s legendary country artists as well as many of today’s stars.

La musique joue un rôle crucial dans les commerces puisqu’elle permet d’installer une atmosphère; les commerçants peuvent ainsi s’en servir pour influencer le comportement des consommateurs. La musique influe notamment sur notre perception du temps que l’on passe à un endroit, ou sur notre conception du prix d’un vêtement ou sur un menu. Il y a toutefois un problème, et il s’agit de cette idée que tout est permis quand vient le temps de diffuser de la musique dans les lieux publics.

Dans le cadre de notre partenariat de longue date avec le Festival Western Saint-Tite, Stingray est fier d'être de nouveau au festival cette année, qui se déroule du 6 au 15 septembre 2019.

AJ Mitchell is a singer-songwriter and musician who is currently signed to Epic Records. He gained an impressive following in 2017 after posting clips of himself singing and performing covers on YouTube and Instagram. His first independent single, "Used To Be," was written by Mitchell at age 13 and has over 60 million streams.

The Canadian Country Music Association’s (CCMA) Country Music Week kicks off in Calgary on September 5. Stingray will be on hand at all the events, including our sponsorship of the big annual CCMA Legends Show.
