Stingray will return to MIPCOM, the world's entertainment content market, from October 15th to the 18th to share insights on harnessing the power of music, technological innovation, and content production to build strong music strategies and innovative customer experiences.

Stingray’s Henry Van Den Hoogen, Director of Programming, and Greg Torrington, Content Manager & Music Programmer (Roots and Country Music Channels), returned to Canada’s Music Incubator on August 24, 2018 to work with and mentor 15 up-and-coming artists as part of the Stingray Music co-sponsored Artist Entrepreneur Program.

Our Stingray Rising Stars program continues its summer road trip across Canada! We stopped in beautiful Halifax from July 10 to 15 to attend the TD Halifax Jazz Festival, a longstanding Stingray Music partner.

Stingray Music and the Winnipeg Folk Festival aim to nurture musicians in the community, showcase up-and-coming artists from across Canada, and provide career stepping stones. This year, 32 performers participated in the Stingray Young Performers Program and were mentored by festival performers Jeremy Fisher, Harrow Fair, Fortunate Ones, Jadea Kelly and The LYNNeS who provided invaluable insight into the music industry, songwriting, and performance experience.
