Stingray Rising Stars

Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival takes place each year in Fredericton's beautiful and historic downtown. This year Stingray Music was honoured to sponsor again the Stingray Rising Stars competition.

The 2018 CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association) Awards are now officially in the record books. The awards happened in Hamilton, Ontario over three nights, September 7 – 9. Stingray Music was there to participate in the ceremonies as a perennial sponsor of the CCMA under our Stingray Rising Stars program.

Stingray Music attended the 2018 Polaris Music Prize Gala at The Carlu on September 17, 2018. A select panel of music critics judged and awarded the Prize without regard to musical genre or commercial popularity.

We visited beautiful Toronto to attend the Women in Music Canada Stingray Rising Stars showcase at The Rivoli on September 11, 2018.

C’est dans le cadre du 13e Gala de la SPACQ que Stingray Musique a remis le Prix André « Dédé » Fortin à deux artistes émergents au parcours captivant, Loud et Beyries. Les deux bourses ont été accordées dans le cadre du programme Prix Étoiles Stingray de Stingray Musique.

The Weather Station and Jennifer Castle have recorded a pair of songs together for the third edition of the Polaris Cover Sessions, sponsored by Stingray Music.

Stingray’s Henry Van Den Hoogen, Director of Programming, and Greg Torrington, Content Manager & Music Programmer (Roots and Country Music Channels), returned to Canada’s Music Incubator on August 24, 2018 to work with and mentor 15 up-and-coming artists as part of the Stingray Music co-sponsored Artist Entrepreneur Program.
