Dress For Success - Clothing Drive for Women
For many of us, the daily routine is standard: wake up, eat breakfast, brush our teeth, get dressed, and go to the office. Sounds simple, but what if the clothes in your closet didn't represent your true talent even if you had all the other tools to succeed?
This International Women's Day, we are delighted to host a clothing drive for employees in our Montreal office in collaboration with Dress for Success. This organization empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing them with a network of support and the development tools to help them thrive in work and life.
Dress for Success provides women with professional attire to secure employment and a support network to help them achieve their goals. An outreach team accompanies them throughout their journey from the moment they secure a job interview to attain their professional success. They even work with a stylist to select their professional outfit and receive coaching and advice as they prepare for their interview.
Stingray employees have two weeks to clean out their closets and offer Dress for Success workplace-appropriate clothing that would benefit from a second life.
The organization accepts the following types of women's items in all sizes:
- Business suits
- Modern and professional blazers, pants, skirts, and dresses
- Scarves, jewelry, handbags
- Professional outerwear
- Professional shoes
- Unopened nylons and undergarments
- Unopened makeup and cosmetics
The HR team will collect all donated items from the Montreal office and offer them to Dress for Success. These gently used clothes will give women the fresh start they need!
